All employees of Coding Concepts require a minimum of three years working experience as a certified coder and possess one or more of the following credentials:
- RHIA Registered Health Information Administrator
- RHIT Registered Health Information Technician
- CCS Certified Coding Specialist
- CCS-P Certified Coding Specialist, Physician-based
- CPC Certified Professional Coder
- CPC-H Certified Professional Coder, Hospital-based
All employees are required to maintain their credentials by completing the required continuing education hours, and/or proficiency testing, appropriate for their credential, and furnish a copy of their membership renewal confirmation annually.
